IHF President cancels participation at EHF Congress

On Friday morning the Ordinary Congress of the European Handball Federation (EHF) was opened in Andau, Austria. Main topic on the agenda are the elections of all EHF bodies for the next period from 2025 to 2029. Gerd Butzeck, who candidates to become President of the International Handball Federation in December, has arranged many meetings with representatives of European national federations. In contrast to previous EHF Congresses, IHF President Hassan Moustafa is not on-site, as the 81 years old Egyptian cancelled his participation on a short-term.
